Stoke Pride Charity Ball 2010
Thank you to everyone who supported the first ever Stoke Pride Charity Ball 2010. We have now counted the money and altogether raised near £2,000 which will go towards the cost of running this years Stoke Pride.
Peter Rigby, Chief Executive of the Network said "We took a risk organising a ball in the city but it was one which was worth while and has proved to be a great success".
The event was held on Friday 12th March at the Kings Hall Stoke sold 75 individual tickets and 7 corporate tables tickets made up of LGBT people from businesses and organisations.
Peter went on to say "It was so nice to see so many old faces and proves the LGBT community is very much alive and well in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. It is important the LGBT Network provides activities for different sections of the community and this event proved to be popular to a variety of people".
